i have recently become a fan of clark’s shoes, and bought these after being impressed by my pair of unstructured–also great.
this style, the wave, is so designed as to roll you forward as you walk–i don’t know how else to describe it–so that, like a wave, your volition needs less effort. makes for a very smooth gait. extremely comfortable, almost like an orthopedic shoe, but stylish. if, as in my case, your profession keeps you on your feet all day, you’ll be very happy with these. one comment, however: whereas i am usually size 6 1/2 M, i did better with these in a 6 W.

I have trouble with my feet…arthritis and flat feet… this shoe holds my foot and I do not feel the ache when I walk. I would recomend this shoe.

|Odd Sizing,
I purchased 2 pair of these shoes. Blue and Olive Green, one in 9.5w for my niece and the other in size 10 for myself. Oddly, the size 9.5w (blue) was a longer shoe than the size 10. Not just wider, but longer. So I ended up taking the 9.5w when I normally wear 10 and the 10′s will go back. Just odd. And annoying. They appear to be well made, are comfortable but this sort of issue is a bother.
